The Anti-Tutor wants to ensure that you make the most out of school closures and quarantine. Just because our routine has been disrupted, doesn't mean that there are no options and no opportunities for improvement and moving forward!
1.
Take a University Class. Just because school is closed, doesn't mean you can't learn online!

Make your own website. You can use Wix for free and learn how to design a website. Create a personal website that showcases your talents and accomplishments.

Graphic Design. Adobe software is offering free trials right now. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn industry-standard software and add a skill set to your resume.
5.
Expand your horizons. Create a list of your interests- things you are naturally good at! Find podcasts, books or Tedtalks accordingly. Master something during this down time

Learn how to code. Tech skills will certainly create opportunities in our increasingly digitized world. Code.org

Write a blog. Whether you chronicle your quarantine experiences or write reviews of the movies you recently watched, now is an excellent time to hone your writing skills
by creating a blog.
9.
Turn weaknesses into strengths. Now is the time to learn the skills that you have always wanted to develop. Set small weekly goals for yourself to help guide you towards achieving them.
11.
Start or support a Non-Profit or a club. Make sure you showcase your leadership by setting up a way to help your community by getting involved in something you are passionate about.
