Middle school is when students begin taking more responsibility for assignments, tests, projects, grades, and their time — but most students are never actually taught how to manage all of it.
Our 2-Hour Middle School Success Workshop teaches practical academic and executive-function skills students can start using immediately.
This is an interactive workshop, not a lecture. Students learn strategies, practice them, and leave with tools for becoming more independent learners.
Topics may include: organization, planners and calendars, homework routines, breaking down large assignments, studying for tests, avoiding procrastination, following directions, checking work before submitting, managing missing assignments, communicating with teachers, and learning how to ask for help.
